Item: Most Wonderful Large Original Wartime RAF Stitched Flag Dated 1942.Always a favourite with collectors The RAF Station Flags, Wonderful heavy Cotton Stitched issued wartime Flag, beginning of WW2 has all original stamp marks with Air Ministry has original rope cord to each end. The flag consists of a beautiful individual panel stitched Union Jack to the left hand side, to the right hand side centre RAF Logo Bulls eye Identification Circle red, white and blue, again all circles individually stitched, all upon a sky blue heavy cotton backing. The RAF Flag has a delightful age patina throughout but still shows its vivid colours. A Unique piece of WW2 Battle of Britain Collectable.
